The figure will have the task of ensuring commercial promotion through the management of ongoing orders with established customers and the search for new business opportunities in compliance with company policies.

The reference customers are mainly represented by the Public Administration, Bodies, Research Institutes, Foundations, Consortia, Municipal Companies, Universities, Corporate and Private Companies, operating in the Environmental and Climate Monitoring, Scientific Research, and Hydrogeological Risk sectors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Dialogues with the reference bodies for Environmental Control and Hydrogeological Risk, such as ARPA, ARTA, CNR, Fire Brigade, Basin Consortia, CREA, ANAS/RTI, Infrastructural Bodies, Autonomous Provinces, CNR, Civil Protection, in their various forms;
  • Carries out prospecting work in the target market;
  • Participates in events, trade fairs, congresses, presentations, workshops;
  • Puts in place the preparatory phase by promoting, identifying, researching, monitoring, calls for tenders and market requests;
  • Develops quotations in order to translate them into contracts;
  • Co-ordinates all the phases necessary to implement the project/tender/tender;
  • Monitors and controls the proper conduct of the tender and commercial negotiations in general, both from a technical-administrative and economic point of view;
  • Monitors and controls the progress, also economic, of tenders over time;
  • Collaborates proactively with the back office, marketing, management and the service and development departments;
  • Maintains perfect administrative and reporting control (monthly reports, forecasts, CRM database, according to defined KPIs and Performance Evaluation System);

REQUIREMENTS

The proposed solution covers needs in a variety of applications and, therefore, experience in at least one of the following sectors is desired:

  • private agricultural sector (farms, cooperatives)
  • public sector (provincial authorities, consortia, rural development authorities)
  • suppliers of products and services in the sector (chemicals, materials, vehicles)
  • aqueducts, water treatment and distribution sector;
  • market of public institutions dealing with hydrogeological risks and issues related to climate change and meteorology (basin authorities, civil protection);
  • Excellent knowledge of French (C1) and English, both spoken and written, is essential;
  • Experience in the specific role, preferably in BtoB and BtoBtoC contexts; Availability for a significant number of travel days per year (1-2 weeks per month);
  • Team management skills;
  • Results orientation and problem solving;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability complete the profile;
  • Knowledge of the various possible distribution and resale channels;
  • The ideal candidate must have significant sales experience of at least two years, even in different sectors, and must possess a strong interpersonal attitude, flexibility, autonomy, spirit of initiative and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory;
  • Diploma possibly in technical/scientific subjects: electronics, geology, physics, chemistry, engineering, agricultural or forestry sciences, biochemistry, physics, electronics, geology, engineering;
  • Graduates with experience in the indicated fields will also be considered;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers in their own language;
  • Autonomy and motivation to sell;
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and continuous training;
  • Make public presentations, field days, technical and sales seminars, webinars.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The ideal candidate, must have significant commercial experience (minimum 3 years) also in different sectors and must have a strong relational attitude, flexibility, autonomy;
  • Spirit of initiative and willingness to travel frequently throughout the territory;
  • Degree possibly in a technical/scientific field (Physics, Electronics, Mechanics, Geology, Agriculture, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental, Meteorology) or high school diploma;
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, targeting the Enterprise market and/or public administration;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively;
  • Knowledge of the market for high-tech items and research;
  • Results orientation, problem solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and continuous learning; Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Good knowledge of the English language is required.

It has developed a state-of-the-art technology for contactless measurement of water content in soil and snow, based on the measurement of environmental neutrons produced by cosmic rays (Cosmic Ray Neutron Sensing). Finapp’s solution enables precise and digitised water management, with the aim of reducing waste in agriculture, in the water distribution of aqueducts, to optimise the production of hydroelectric energy, and to mitigate the risk of hydrogeological instability in the safety of citizens.
