Finapp was proud to take part in the eLTER Scientific Conference 2025, held in Finland, where we contributed both to the exhibition area and the scientific program. The event brought together researchers, institutions, and innovators from across Europe to discuss cutting-edge tools and approaches for long-term ecological research.

As part of the official program, Enrico Gazzola, Data Scientist at Finapp, presented our abstract titled:

“Cosmic-Ray Neutron Sensing as a multi-purpose technology in eLTER platforms”

The presentation, delivered during the session on Wednesday, June 25 at 12:30, explored how Finapp’s Cosmic-Ray Neutron Sensing (CRNS) technology is reshaping environmental monitoring at several eLTER sites in Austria, Spain, and Italy. The talk focused on the versatility of CRNS — from measuring soil moisture and snow water equivalent, to contributing valuable data for landslide risk analysis.

Throughout the conference, participants visited our booth to learn how Finapp’s lightweight, safe, and non-invasive neutron probes are making ecological research more scalable, accurate, and harmonized across diverse landscapes and long-term observatories.

Our team was inspired by the meaningful discussions, scientific curiosity, and collaborative spirit shared during the event. We thank the eLTER community for welcoming Finapp and look forward to supporting future efforts in environmental data collection and monitoring.
