A satellite system used to determine geographic position and deviation. Finapp devices can interrogate some GPS receivers then store the GPS position data. Knowing the location is critical for geo referencing the neutron and muon counts that are the basis of Finapp soil moisture maps and the pre-localtion of water losses along aqueducts.
