From 24 to 27 June 2025, Finapp proudly took part in the 5th Metrology for Meteorology and Climate Conference, held in Vienna, Austria. The event brought together leading experts in climate science, environmental monitoring, and precision measurement to explore the latest advances in metrology applied to climate research.

Our CEO, Luca Stevanato, contributed to session O-8 with a presentation titled:

“Characterization-calibration of a cosmic ray neutron sensing detector by a nuclear reactor neutron beamline.”

This work represents a crucial step forward in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of CRNS (Cosmic Ray Neutron Sensing) technology — a foundation for its effective use in environmental and hydrological applications.

Also representing Finapp, Manal Boujnir, Environmental Engineer and Global Business Development Coordinator, delivered a talk highlighting Finapp’s innovative environmental monitoring solutions and their practical impact on both climate research and agricultural optimization.

The conference was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen collaborations with researchers and institutions working at the forefront of climate science and precision measurement.

Finapp is committed to driving innovation that bridges fundamental science and real-world impact — and we thank the organizers and all participants for this valuable experience.
